Billy and Pam Singleton
Recovering damages in a business loss claim was complicated and complex. But Jay Carmean took our case and began the long process of gathering the necessary proof and records. We could not have hoped for a more through and credible file on which to base our claim. Jay, and his staff, did a great job, start to finish, making sure that we were well represented. The final settlement covered all of our claims; and, we could not be more pleased. We would recommend Jay and everybody at TCM to anyone who ever needs legal assistance. We were always treated more like friends than clients. Their courtesy, professionalism and work ethic was absolutely top notch every step of the way.
Sherry McKenzie
On March 26, 2012, Sherry McKenzie left Tupelo High School where she taught school and was heading to the Alpha House to tutor abused and neglected children. One her way there, a car ran a stop sign and t-boned her vehicle, causing her to suffer significant injuries including a torn rotator cuff and significant damage to her car. Sherry enlisted the services of Tannehill, Carmean & Associates to assist her in recovering compensation for her lost wages, damaged vehicle, and medical bills. TCM filed suit when the insurance company refused to adequately compensate her. TCM aggressively pursued the claim and the insurance company buckled with the trial date looming.
Lorie Roberts
On the morning of December 30, 2013, Lorie Roberts was returning home from work on MS Highway 9 when a Prince Oil Company truck entered her lane and struck her car head on. She was airlifted to NMMC where an 8 hour surgery was followed by over a month in the hospital and physical therapy that continues to this day. Lorie hired Jay Carmean who filed suit against the company and its driver. A settlement was reached on the eve of mediation, less than a year from the date of wreck.
Mr. and Mrs. Ramero
We’ve had plenty of kids attend the closing of their new homes, but this was a first. Thanks to the Rameros (including Bentley) for choosing TCM.

14 years ago I nervously went to trial on my first personal injury case. Having Peggy Penamon as a client made it much easier. We won and she’s been letting the waistline out of my suits ever since.

Cowan Hunter
Cowan Hunter was sued as a result of a wreck he was involved in on May 19, 2012. Cowan came to Rhea Tannehill for advice about getting sued. TCM was able to get Cowan’s case settled and he received the maximum amount of automobile insurance coverage from the driver of the other vehicle.
